re:thinc built the VLD app as part of the "Hauslieferdienst" (HLD) service.
It is provided by "Verein Velo-Lieferdienste Schweiz" (VLD) and their operators at no cost and is intended for use as is.
If you choose to use the HLD service you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.
Who is the owner of the collected data?
Your data is stored and owned by VLD and their operators.
What information do we collect?
Personal Data
We may require you to provide personally identifiable information, such as:
- Name
- Phone number
- Address (street, city, postal code)
In order to provide the HLD service, it saves all data that is related to your orders like:
- Pickup and drop off location of your order
- Date and time of your order
The requested information will be retained by VLD and their operators and won't be shared with other third parties.
The HLD service does not collect any persistent identifiers (e.g. Google ID)
Log Data
In case of an error in the app we collect log data from your phone, such as:
- Internet Protocol (IP)
- Device name
- Operating System Version
- App Version
- Time and Date of occurrence
- Reason of failure

The HLD service uses third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Security
Critical data like passwords and login information will be stored encrypted.
Because no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is absolutely secure and reliable,
we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
How do we use your information?
We use your personal information only to provide the HLD service. This includes:
- Phone number for login
- Name and address for delivering your orders
Anonymized data will be used by VLD and their operators for statistical information, such as:
- Number of deliveries in certain cities
- App usage in certain cities
We do not use your information for advertisement or promotional information.
What information do we share?
We do not share any of your provided data to any party outside of VLD and their operators.
